Dirk Nowitzki Breaks a Kid’s Heart

Posted by admin On February - 6 - 2009

If you cry easily, please don’t go any further. I’ve uncovered the ugly, untold story of a Dirk’s cold heart.

It takes place in mid January at the end of the Dallas @ Philadelphia game. Dallas has the ball, and a little boy has a prayer…

When asked about why he felt the need to taunt the kid afterward, Dirk said:

“Ich werde tun, den ganzen Tag lang auf das Kind. Ball don’t lie, und auch nicht I.”

translation:

“I’ll do that all day long on the kid. Ball don’t lie, and neither do I.”

Cold.

Guess court-sides really can’t buy happiness.

Lol your german is worse than google.
Your english ain’t that good, either.
    It should say
“I’ll do that all day long to the kid. Ball don’t lie, and neither do I.”
    Try this
“Ich werde das dem Kind den ganzen Tag lang antun.[Der] Ball lügt nicht, und ich auch nicht.”

Nothing he can do there,’twas for the win anyway. Wth is wrong with you? LoLLed out. Think about Derek Fisher’s .5 s shots back in the LAL-SAS playoff game. I’m sure there was more than one kid’s heart broken there.
    LoLLed out!

Why is this a big deal? Article led me to believe he yelled at a kid or something, lol.

We all know if the kid had been in the paint, Nowitzki would have backed down.

LMAO… no German native would have ever said that. Sentences don’t always translate word for word into another language because the context dictates the choice of words and grammar. Hint: Learn the language, or - please - ask someone who knows it, before you publish the next stunt.

    Funny try though…lol
